I went thru only one full year at UNM and chose to get my "MRS" degree in 1966. I [we] moved to Amarillo, had our one and only child in 1969, divorced in 1974, married hubby #2 in 1978, divorced again in 1982 [no more kids]. Throughout my 23 years in Amarillo, my work history was all over the map. I never could decide what I wanted to be when I grew up. I managed apartments, kept books for small entreprenurial businesses, was an escrow officer for Stewart Title, dabbled in mortgage lending and servicing, co-owned and operated a specialty advertising business, and more. In 1990, while in Albuq. for the HHS 25th year reunion, I re-connected with a friend/roommate of my brother's whom I had known since I was 15. We mutually decided our future was to be spent together and I moved back "home" in October '90. Tom and I married in Oct. '91 and have been wonderfully happy since. We started Simpatico Construction in 1991 as a sole proprietorship and, so far, have weathered the economic storm.
