This one really hits hard! Denny and I were best of friends and baseball/basketball teammates for several years while at HHS. Denny had a very funny dry sense of humor and often could be heard using a few cuss words, when on the pitchers mound and had given up a hit to an opposing player. Our senior year most weekends along with our other good friend Rick Beserra, would be off to some type of playful mischief. When they went away to college at Western NM, they would come visit me in El Paso. We spent several late nights warming up the barstools at the Kentucky Club in Juarez.  Hard to believe that they are both gone now.

Dennis was a great athlete and also a math whiz, and after college went into the computer field. Unfortunately, I had lost track of him when he moved to Reston, Va. to work at Boeing. Lastly, he was employed as a Computer Executive w Marriott Hotels in the Va. area. We all need to remember to stay close to our friends.         May you Rest In Peace, my little buddy. You will be greatly missed. JW
