Mary Katherine Ann, "Kathy" Gallegos, passed away on July 13th. Kathy was born on May 19,1947. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarabel and Antonio Gallegos and her brother Norman. She is survived by 3 nephews, a paternal aunt, several cousins and many close friends. Kathy received a BA from UNM and a Masters in social work from New Mexico Highlands University. I had serveral classes with Kathy.She always had a smile.I was heartbroken to see her name on the memory list.I know your in heaven so that means I have to be good to see you again.Say HI to all the class mates up in heaven.My prayers go out to the family.May she rest in peace.

I knew Kathy from grade school through high school. She was a true beauty from her beautiful face to her caring and kind nature. Probably explains why she went into Social Work as a career. Only the brave of heart enter the field. I last saw her in 1969 at marriage classes for Catholic ceremonies. Charlie Lujan stated a need to be good to see her in Heaven along with the other good guys and gals from the class of 1965. Kathy certainly earned her wings to be there. By the way, Charlie always has a kind word or thought for those classmates that have passed. I appreciate that.
