My daughter #2 Shannon was close friends with Alan's son Gavin; a great kid so well-liked by his peers. His loss so young in life was a tragedy to Alan and all of us who knew him; I believe taught and coached at APS. We will think of him on Saturday as well at Alan's memorial.

I spent alot of time with Big Al in High school.  We  shot a lot of targets and reloaded a lot of ammo.  We got pretty good at it.  Now I can't even go into a gun shop.  Alan made my first punisher, whiskey and coke.  I still can't drink a coke without getting sick.  We got our induction phyical on the same day.  I passed, Big Al got refused for obesity.  I thought the heavy drinking in High school had done him in years ago I was glad to hear he lived a long and productive life.  My condolences go to The Bird you were the best thing in his life for sure.
