Terry passed away on July 1, 2010 after a short battle with cancer. After high school Terry worked at Sandia labs and eventually fulfilled a long time dream to race cars. He married Dyann Styles in 1971 and they followed his dream to Lincoln, NE where he worked for Speedway Motors. His prowess as a race care driver was halted abruptly due an accident that nearly cost him his hand. He then turned to working as a mechanic on the Sprint car and later the Indy car circuits. He earned the Starrett Mechanic of the Year award. He and Dyann had 2 children, Yvonne and Michelle, both of whom live in/around Green Bay, WI.
