So sad to hear about Jeff's passing.  He was always kind and friendly and will be missed by all of us.  I had the good fortune to meet Toni and the rest of his family through a mutual friend a couple of years ago.  It was great to rekindle the relationship from so many years ago.  Prayers go out to his wife Toni, his children and grandchildren.  His last few months were tough on all of them, but he is resting peacefully now.  We'll see you on the other side Jeff.

I spoke to Jeff about two weeks ago , about April 7, and he then informed me the cancer he was fighting had progressed to the point of no return.  He had been fighting it in ernst  for the last several years.  It's been painful for him as I've listened to the type of surgeries he's had.

Jeff was a very kind and caring person who would go out of his was to help you.  While we knew each other in school we became better acquainted as neighbors out here north of the city.

Jeff loved being a grandfather and spoke of his grandkids often.  He also loved woodworking and puttering around in his garage/workshop.  Jeff, you will be missed , but rest is at your footsteps.  So long Jeff..

Like so many of the class of '65, Jeff stayed and made a remarkable career in Albuquerque.  I saw him at the most recent reunion, exchanged pleasentries briefly aqnd then didn't get a chance to see him again until October 2019 when a group got together for breakfast.  One thing about Jeff that I never forgot and knew immediately when I saw him (after 50 years) was his smile.  As a 35 year cop I became a face watcher.  The thing I noticed and remembered was that his eyes matched his smile-warm, friendly and full of good humor.  There was no anger there and no angst.  Life can hand us a bunch of lemons; Jeff , I came to believe, looked at them, smiled amd said, "Now thats interesting; wonder what I can make out of these."  That outlook is a rarity.  I can only hope I meet adversity with Jeff's smile when it comes my way.  I know he loved Toni dearly and their life together must have been a really good ride. Robert Browning wrote, "Come grow old with me; the best is yet to be.  The last of life for which the first was made."  May the Good Lord provide comfort for his family

Like so many classmates there are many I didn't know while I was walking the halls of Highland High School. I did have the pleasure of having brunch/lunch with Jeff and Bob Bruno just before Covid hit. I so much enjoyed our visit and getting to know him. We do live in the same near neighborhood. We exchanged so emails and talked about hiking sometime.

I am so very sorry to learn he has passed. My sincere condolences to his family. I am sorry for your loss. Jeff was a very kind, generous man.

Jeff and I were friends, unlikely, but friends never the less. I didn't manage to be at the reunion with Jeff and his lovely wife so we never saw each other after school. To his family and friends I express sadness at his passing and to add to what you and everyone who met Jeff knew; a smile that radiated kindness, compassion and just a little bit of sly wit.

So Sorry, Larry
