Frank was one of my very best friends in high school.  We spent a lot of time together and did a lot of cruising around town on the weekends.

I lost touch with Frank after he left to attend school in Socorro; I went to UNM for three semesters prior to enlisting in the Navy and seldom saw Frank after he started school.

Frank joined the Army after school and was enjoying a very successful career when he was accidently killed in a live fire exercise.  I found out about his accident and his life from his folks on a visit to Albuquerque in the late 1980's; I called them hoping to make contact with Frank.  I cried like a baby when his Mother told me of his death; it was quite a shock.  It's so sad to think of his early passing and leaving his family at such an early age.

I'll always remember you fondly my friend; God bless, and I hope you're waiting for me to show me around when it's my turn.

I remember all the board games we played and all the fun times we had.  Most of all I remember Frank.  I lost contact for a period of time and was so sadened of his passing.  Rest in peace brother.
