To Medicare, Smart(er) Phones and Bob Dylan on the cover of the AARP magazine.

(You’re right – this doesn’t rhyme, but nothing rhymes with “AARP magazine”

and this image spoke volumes about where we’ve been & where we are now.)

 

So suck in your buzzer, nip & tuck if you want to.

We really don’t care – we just want to see you!

 

 

 

HHS Class of ’65 ♦ 50 Year Reunion

 

 

DATE: Saturday, September 12, 2015

 

TIME: 6:30 – 7:30 pm Cash Bar and Registration

7:00 pm Buffet: (very) heavy hors d’oeuvres

The buffet menu will be posted on the website by the end of August.

 

PLACE: Sandia Resort & Casino (www.sandiacasino.com)

The entrance on the east side of the facility is best; valet parking is available for high rollers – as well as the rest of us.

 

MUSIC: Joe Sais and Showcase

 

PRICE: $80/person or $150/couple

 

REGISTRATION:  Registration deadline is August 22.

 Price after this date is $95/person or $175/couple.

Since we are contractually obligated to pay the venue - in full –

14 days prior to the event, we hope it’s obvious that payment sooner

rather than later is strongly encouraged, really appreciated – and very helpful!

weekend rate of $209 + tax. This is subject to availability

so, once again, reservations made sooner rather than later

And just a gentle reminder that hotel reservations are totally separate from your reunion registration. You’re

probably collecting Social Security by now – you can

LOST & FOUND: Check the HHS Class of ’65 website (www.highlandhs1965) to see if your nearest and dearest friends who know

things about you are listed. If you don’t see their name,

contact them and encourage them go to the website to

register. “Inquiring Minds Like to Know.”

 

 

PHOTOS: If you have photos of you, your family, your HHS days, and/or images from any of the past reunions

that you would be willing to share, we’d love to have

them for a possible slide show at the event and/or

posting on our website.

A 50 Year High School Reunion means that we have officially become the geezers we used to point at, imitate smugly and talk about. However – we look better, fly faster, jump higher and laugh louder. Our 401 (k)s probably pay better, too.

 

We’ve had a great time planning this event and hope as many of you as possible will want to come celebrate with friends of long standing (we avoid the “O” word), remember our friends who are no longer here, laugh a lot, and just reminisce about a time in our lives and our community that made a difference.
